Weddings

Get Married at the Beach

When Mark and Deb asked if they could hold their wedding here, I wasn’t sure how well this place would suit a wedding.  As it turned out, the setting was perfect! Deb had some fantastic ideas and there was lots of room for the ceremony, reception, casual evening BBQ and evening beach fire.

After the ceremony, round tables covered in crisp white linen tablecloths were set up and the chairs rearranged.  Caterers prepared hors d’oeurves upstairs in the kitchen and served them to guests out mingling on the lawn and the beach. The beach was also a popular and soon a guitar appeared…

A casual BBQ followed, using the propane BBQ provided in the carport, as well as a second BBQ brought from their home.  People sat or mingled, eating at the tables or on the beach.

Once the BBQ was finished and everyone had had their fill, the BBQ’s were shut down and the carport was ready for dancing, which spilled out onto the lawn and beach.  As it got dark, candles on the tables lit the area and white miniature lights ensured safety.
